In this tutorial I’m going to guide you step-by-step how to directly link an asset to IT service.
Don’t worry about writing down the custom filed name and codes. I have added them to the tutorial, Just under the player itself.

Watch the tutorial, then copy the code to your server.

Get the Flash Player to see this content.

The Plugin can be downloaded from here

These are the filed names and code used in this tutorial, fell free to used them.

Custom Field #1: it service vendor id

Custom Field #2: it service agreement id

Dynamic URL syntax for the plugin configuration:
http://*server_name*/vendors/#{c_it_service_vendor_id}/agreements/#{c_it_service_agreement_id}

Replace *server_name* with your real Spiceworks server name

    Hi Yasaf
I have checked the characters they are all lowercase as per your plugin config above, however if I change the server name to the IP address it opens another browser instance and asks for a login, when I login I am presented with the correct information as per your tutorial. I just need to work out why it cannot do it by server name :)

Many thanks for the excellent plugin.

    Hi Yasaf

Thank you for your plugin, I have failed to get it to work, all I get is a blank page even though it has the correct url as displayed in your tutorial. Does it still work with v5.3? Or can you give me a pointer as to why I cannot make it work?

    Thanks

      Hi Eric,
      Thanks for your comment.
Double check capital / non-capital characters in you URL. Case does matter.
If it still doesn’t work ping me again so we can get it sorted for you
